I had a pleasant stay at the Ipanema Plaza Hotel with its fantastic location, just a block from the beach and surrounded by a variety of restaurants. While the rooms were clean and decent, they could use some modernization, especially the bathrooms. Although the breakfast was excellent with a wide selection, the service in the dining area was less than cheerful. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting to explore Rio, especially Ipanema. 😊

I had a pleasant stay at Golden Tulip Ipanema Plaza for three nights. The location is fantastic, just one block from Ipanema Beach and surrounded by shopping and restaurants. While I did experience some noise during breakfast and found some areas in need of a facelift, the staff were accommodating and the rooftop pool views were amazing, especially during sunset.
